Thirty-seven years of service to Port Harcourt
From a small group of committed professionals to a force for change, our story is written in the lives we've touched and the communities we've strengthened.

1987
The club is founded
A diverse group of passionate visionaries came together with a shared goal: to create something truly lasting. They firmly believed that Port Harcourt deserved better opportunities and a brighter future, and they were wholeheartedly committed to putting in the hard work necessary to make that vision a reality.
2005
First major health initiative
We proudly launched our complimentary eye examination program, transforming the lives of those who had lost their sight. Hundreds of residents in Port Harcourt received not only glasses but also a renewed sense of hope and possibility.

2015
Expansion into education
The Skill-Up Project was launched to empower young individuals by providing training in various vocational trades. We believe that true and lasting change occurs when people are equipped with the necessary tools and skills to create their own futures. By investing in their education and practical experience, we aim to foster independence and self-sufficiency among the youth.
2023
Water reaches Bonny Island
The Bonny Wash Water Project successfully provided clean water to thousands of people, transforming lives and communities. This initiative demonstrated that when Rotarians dedicate themselves to a cause, no distance or challenge is too great to overcome. Their unwavering commitment has made a significant impact, showcasing the power of collective action in addressing vital needs.

Is it the truth in all we do?
Is it fair to all concerned always?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Will it build goodwill and friendships?
